My association with the BDFA began in 2012 providing administrative services on a part time contractual basis from a virtual office at home. Since my youngest son started school my hours (and workload!) have increased and I am now officially employed on a part-time (9am-2pm) basis as Office Manager.
I have a background in customer service and administration as a secretary and PA and I also taught Administration/Office Skills to school leavers before moving into “virtual” office work to fit around my three children and my husband’s unpredictable lifestyle!
My role is to support the Chief Executive and the Charity’s Trustees, to coordinate our six-monthly newsletter and annual family conference as well as to ensure the office runs smoothly and to be a first point of contact for all enquiries.
