Jon Cooper's Lab
Day
This year's PSDL
Lab Open Day is taking place on 15th June 2010.
As
usual, it’s a chance to come and see some of the work that is going
on in the lab, to meet and have lunch with scientists who are doing
the work, plus put on a white coat and visit where the work actually
takes place.
There
will be informal presentations on the latest developments in
understanding disease and progress towards therapies, with plenty of
opportunity to meet and discuss others who have an interest in
Batten disease.
There
will also be updates on the work the BDFA is doing, to Support
Research, and how planning is going for the next International
Congress on Batten disease research that will take place in London
in September 2011.
The
day starts at 10.00 am, with tea and coffee, with the program of
talks beginning at 10.30am and is due to finish by 3.30pm. If
interested, you can also arrange to stay on afterwards and discuss
more with Dr Cooper. Everyone is welcome, but we need to have some
indication of numbers so that we can plan the day in advance.
Please contact Sam Simpson on
support@bdfa-uk.org.uk or 01233 639526 for further details by 1st
June 2010.
