London Marathon At the Batten Disease Family Association we only have a guaranteed marathon place once every five years (this is a silver bonded marathon place), so if you are lucky enough to have gained a London Marathon ballot place and would like to run for us – we’d love to hear from you! Please call our fundraising office on 01603 760111 or email: fundraising@bdfa-uk.org.uk to receive a t-shirt to run in, sponsorship form and advice on setting up your own on-line fundraising page. We will also need people to help us to raise a storm cheering any runners on – so please save the date, invite your friends – we shall be heading back to the 19 mile point at Canary Wharf where there is live music, radio stations, a beer bus, toilets close by as well as shops! After the race we then head to St James Park for a relaxing picnic! Call to find out more.
