Pauline is one of the founder members of the BDFA and is married to Jim.  Both her children were diagnosed with CLN3. Joanna passed away in 2008 (age 23) and James (age 26) on 2016. Both lived at the SeeAbility-run home, Heather House.  Pauline worked for AXA PPP for 39 years – most of those years were spent in IT in roles ranging from a developer through to project and quality management.

She was able to retire at the end of 2014 and in between walking their golden retriever and working to support the BDFA,  is able to enjoy a more relaxed pace of life.
