Pauline is one of the founder members of the BDFA and is married to Jim.  Both her children were diagnosed with CLN3. Joanna passed away in 2008 (age 23) and James (age 26) lives at the SeeAbility-run home, Heather House.  Pauline worked for AXA PPP for 29 years – most of those years were spent in IT in roles ranging from a developer through to project and quality management.

She has now been able to retire and is enjoying a more relaxed pace of life which means, amongst other things, she can spend more time with James. Plus her long-suffering husband has now persuaded her to take up golf.
