A poem about home, written by 10 year old Scarlett Evans, sister to Sam and Alice both with CLN3 and baby brother George.
Here Scarlett shares how special home is with Mum Natalie, Step dad Dave and her family. We think your poem is just beautiful!
HOME
Although a house is worth riches,
A home is worth more,
It is priceless because a house is just walls.
Home is the living room where toys are strewn about,
Home is where tiny handprints dear and small leave stains on the wall,
Home is our kitchen where all pets are being fed,
Home is where the wedding picture is hung above the dog bed.
There is no place like home,
Although a house is worth riches,
A home is worth more,
It is priceless because a house is just walls,
Home is like sugary sweets you can’t keep away,
Home is my living room where small people play,
Home is like a big warm hug,
Home is a friendly friend,
There is no place like home!
