BIG GIVE CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE 2022 – ONE DONATION, TWICE THE IMPACT!

MIDDAY TUESDAY 29TH NOVEMBER TO MIDDAY TUESDAY 6TH DECEMBER

We are very excited to share with you that the Batten Disease Family Association has been selected to participate in the Big Give Christmas Challenge, the UK’s largest match funding campaign!

Last year, thanks to generous supporters, the campaign raised over £24 million for participating charities. The BDFA will be raising funds for our Holistic Family Wellbeing Service, which is providing crucial therapeutic support to families affected by Batten disease.

The BDFA commissions The Maypole Project to deliver the service, an organisation that specialises in providing counselling and therapeutic support to families who have children with complex needs and life limiting conditions.

Donations made to our Family Wellbeing Service via our page on the BIG Give website, https://donate.thebiggive.org.uk/campaign/a056900002M5hnrAAB will be matched for 7 days from midday on Tuesday 29th November, to midday on Tuesday 6th December. One donation, twice the impact!

If you would like to support our work this year, we highly recommend doing so during the Christmas Challenge, when your donation will be doubled and make even more of a difference to us. Please note the donate button will appear on the campaign page when the Christmas Challenge launches at midday on Tuesday 29th November. The donate button will also be available on the BDFA website.

We will be sending out further information in the run-up to the campaign and during Big Give week, we will be sharing about the impact that the Family Wellbeing service has on the lives of families who are living with a diagnosis of Batten disease.

Please support us during Big Give week if you can and help us to make twice the impact this Christmas.

Thankyou! #ChristmasChallenge22
