Fundraising within your local community is a fantastic way of raising essential funds as well as raising awareness of Batten disease and the work the BDFA do to support those affected. From holding a summer ball to a cake sale there are ideas for everyone.

Collecting boxes placed in local shops, Post Offices, pubs and businesses can help us to collect everyone’s unwanted small change. These amounts add up very quickly and by having teams of people looking after boxes local to them we can continue to raise even more funds. We are able to provide everything you will need including a ‘How to’ guide. If you think you would like to help please do email fundraising@bdfa-uk.org.uk
