Good news for the next step in European Research funding for Batten disease.

The proposal submitted by Dr Sara Mole, UCL London, has successfully passed the first round in the European Commission funded project Horizon 2020 Societal Challenge “Health, Demographic changes and well-being”.

The BDFA is proud to be part of the expert consortium assembled by Dr Mole which includes researchers and clinicians from several EU countries with the aim to be successful in obtaining funding for a 3 year research project The project will investigate potential therapies for CLN3, CLN6 and CLN7.

Now the hard work begins for all of the stakeholders to submit a full proposal in April 2015.
