We’re proud to be one of the 41 small charities supported by Global’s Make Some Noise this year.
Global is home to some of the UK’s biggest and best-loved radio stations including Capital, Heart, Classic FM, Smooth Radio and Radio X. On the 6th October, Global Radio stations will all come together to raise money for the incredible small charities they are supporting across the UK, including the BDFA.
Global’s Make Some Noise are asking us all to ‘dress loud’ to celebrate the day and we would love for our community to get involved! The bolder, brighter and louder the better and we would love for you to send in photos of yourselves and your family’s outfits for us to share across social media.
The funding from Global’s Make Some Noise will go towards the BDFA’s Peer Befriending Service. This service offers emotional support to families from those who understand the journey best, other parents, who walk alongside them, building resilience and reducing isolation. We are incredibly grateful that Global’s Make Some Noise will be supporting the Peer Befriending Service from April 2024.
Listen out for recordings from families in our community which are going to be played on the radio, including local stations, in the coming weeks and we’re looking forward to sharing those when they’re broadcast.
