We are delighted to announce that Duncan Brownnutt and Rod Wark have been awarded the UK Prime Minister’s award of the Points of Light. The award recognises those outstanding volunteers who make a change and Duncan and Rod have certainly done that to raise awareness and much needed funds for the BDFA. Well done to both of you, a truly deserved recognition.

Prime Minister David Cameron said:

“With their remarkable cycling challenge, Duncan and Rod have raised a fantastic amount of money to fund research and support for Batten Disease. I know this is a cause very close to their hearts, and I am delighted to be able to recognise their fundraising by making them Points of Light.”
