Lisa joined the BDFA in October 2017 helping 2 hours a week, the role quickly progressed and Lisa now work 5 days a week running the BDFA office. No two days are the same for Lisa, from office duties, sending out merchandise, running the social media and website,  organising the conference, supporting the Chief Executive, Family Support team, and all other areas of the organisation, Lisa will get stuck into anything!

Lisa’s working background is in media, where she gained her HND in media production with business, and went on to work in TV directing sign language programmes.

After that, Lisa worked in various administration roles with in travel, private health care and virtual admin. Lisa has always wanted to work for a charity, so when the opportunity came up, I wanted to get involved.

Lisa lives with her teenage twin boys and their 4 cats. She loves paddle boarding, coffee, musicals and anything DIY and home makeover!
