Dear Families   The BDFA was delighted to join international partner BDSRA and others for an enlightening and informative international session looking at the current research and treatment landscape for Batten disease, in the light of recent announcements from pharmaceutical companies in the space.

Dr Ineka Whiteman, Head of Research, Medical and Scientific Affairs at BDSRA Australia led a really excellent webinar and was joined by Dr David Pearce and Dr Jonathan Mink.

The webinar explains drug development, current challenges really clearly, gives updates on current treatment development and is also very positive and hopeful for the future. A must-see for the Batten community!

Please reach out to us at the BDFA if you would like to discuss any of these developments further. Contact Amanda Mortensen at amandamortensen@bdfa-uk.org.uk.
