We are very sorry to announce that our Scientific Officer, Heather Band, left the BDFA on 7th June 2019 after almost seven years with the organisation.

We thank Heather for her professionalism, dedication and all her hard work on many research projects for the BDFA and her work on the BATCure project.

The decision is purely financial, as we have revised our strategy in line with a stripped-down budget and as part of this, Heather has accepted redundancy. We wish Heather all the best for her future.
