Would You Like A Peer Befrinder 2023

All our Peer Befrienders are parents with lived experience of Batten disease. They have an understanding of the challenges you may face and know how isolating it can be feel to live with a Battens diagnosis. They are here and ready to listen to you on a regular basis, via Zoom or phone calls.

“Meeting Valerie via the Peer Befriending service has been wonderful. We now speak weekly by shared messages or FaceTime and it really helps us both to speak with another mum who ‘truly gets it’. Thank You.” Maria, Mum to William 19 CLN3
